David begins his second season in baseball and his first with the Captains.  In 2010, he worked as director of media relations and play-by-play broadcaster for the Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League, where he had the fortune of calling the first perfect game in CPL history.  Tanklefsky has also worked as a producer for Boston's Sports Radio WEEI, assignment desk editor for WHDH-TV Boston and intern/production assistant at CNN London.  His writing on sports and media has appeared in TV Guide, Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and the Batter Chatter baseball blog.  A graduate of Boston University's College of Communications, Tanklefsky is also an accomplished songwriter and guitarist.
